Hopital Visit Today

purplerabbitDamn, I hate hospitals.
Spent all day in the emergency room today. Several months ago, I started to get intermittent stomach aches, gas and bowel pain. It has increased in frequency and severity to the point that this morning I couldn't stand it any more. I couldn't wait for the ultrasound next my doctor had scheduled for next week. I had been in intense pain for over 12 hours by the time I arrived. Five hours later, blood tests and ultrasound tests, they still don't know why. They know a lot of things I don't have but not what. I have been given a prescription for belladonna and a referral to a gastro specialist. My gall bladder, pancreas, liver, kidneys, bladder, colon, etc. all look fine. An ulcer is looking more likely. Good news is that they didn't find anything wrong, bad news is still not having a solution.
On a bright note, the ex must be back on medication again. We have arranged Rowan's visit already. Instead of making it a fight, she was very nice and reasonable. Also sent us updates on his medications, school and activities. Always makes me afraid of the other shoe dropping when she acts nice but it would be nice if it lasted. Rowan returns to California on March 15 and leaves March 22. My spring returns.

Date: 2003-02-05 08:40 am (UTC)I've put Rowan's visit dates on our calendar. Let's plan to have the kids go somewhere together. How about somewhere on Wednesday afternoon of that week, after Allegra is out of school?
