12 Hours Later -- Still Here

purplerabbitSo we worked until after midnight. We ended up sleeping on the hardwood floor with blankets. Well, S slept apparently. I mostly lay there seething. I was pretty angry that things have gone so slowly. There are times to be methodical -- and this isn't one of them.
At 7 AM, we got tea and bagels and began again. We are now a day behind schedule. I am very very sore, tired and fed-up. I want to be home already. I need to be home. I need a soft bed, comfortable surroundings -- but most of all, I need my sweeties.
I have had virtually no time to myself for the past month. My birthday is less than two weeks away. I really hope that my birthday involves some serious pampering. I truly need it.
