Can you help? Let me know if you can please...
I am trying to work out how to finance and manage my friend's move back to the bay. There are some things we could use:
Does anyone on the list have a place we can stay at the halfway point in the drive, say around Eugene? My fibro won't let me body tolerate a straight through drive, so I am going to need to sleep in a bed or comfortable couch at the end of the first day.
For folks in the Seattle area:
We could both packing help.
We need boxes, packing materials and packing tape.
We could use a bit of help getting these since S doesn't have a car. (I am now staying in town at S's place rather than at the ranch. I needed to be here to help him pack.)
We could use help loading the truck on Sunday.
We will need help unloading the truck at the California end of things. Probably on Wednesday AM or Tuesday PM. We will need to put most of the things into our already cluttered storage place.
For any who might be flush these days, we could use help with the money for truck and gas to get back. I have already spent way too much on the Florida trip from my Uncle's death and now this trip.
And once we have him back at the Warren, we will need help finding S a job and a place to live. He works doing Software Quality Assurance. More to come on this later.
So there we are. We will hopefully be loading the truck Sunday. I really want to get home. My poor sweeties seem to be getting more and more anxious to have me home. Even my mom sent email missing me. I am homesick. I know this is the right thing to do right now but it doesn't make it that much easier.
