Odd question...

So what types of trees are in the Amazon jungle? I have always gotten then idea that they grow tall like redwoods. Is that true? But are they thick like redwoods too? Having trouble picturing it.

they are tall, yes.. but not straight with one big trunk the way a redwood is.. lots of branches, very toip heavy with leaves and such... i have a book i can lend you!!!

Not sure about the Amazon, but cloud/rainforest in Costa Rica I have pictures of that I could give uncledark to take home for you to borrow.
