Plus Size Clothing - search and suggestions

Since I have to attend the American Anthropology Association conference next month, I have been searching for size 18/20 professional clothing. I still need a good black blazer in my size.

Meanwhile, I found a treasure of size 24-30 clothes at the local Thrift Town on 14th in San Leandro. Really nice stuff. So if you wear those sizes and need some nice clothes, check it out. Thrift Town is also nice about sorting their clothes by size not but color.

Thrift Town is my favorite of the larger thrift stores. We were there twice in the last week!

For large size consignment, you should check out Seams To Fit. A black blazer might be hard to come by, though, since it's such a "staple" piece. I hope you can find one by then, but this might be one that even you have to buy retail! But who knows--with your luck you might manage it!
