Peacekeeper Wars small rant

purplerabbitMy family just finished watching the new 2-part mini-series of Farscape - The Peacekeeper Wars. Was fun and did a lot better job wrapping up the series loose ends than it was left before.
Okay, so I have to bitch about one thing. What the f**k was that birth scene? How does a woman give birth with her skin-tight pants still on? And if we thought they had cut them open for the baby to come out, then why were they back in one piece only a few minutes later? And then, it is so clear that people who write the scenes have never attended a birth -- what about the afterbirth process? I know if is just TV but sometimes the movie/tv land versions of birth and death astound me. No mess, no fuss, no stretch marks, so afterbirth and they come out shooting afterward.
Yes, it is a nit-pic but I had to rant somewhere.
Meanwhile, damn that was a fun show!
