Made it home safe...

We made it home safe last night.

Yeah, there was some emotional stuff that really through me on Sunday. Not something I am comfortable posting to a public forum. Basically, the three of us have some real issues to work out. We have known that for a while but have been in crisis mode so long that we haven't been able to address them. Putting them off has made things worse.

Meanwhile, some good news. Our ex asked if we would mind keeping fairieboy longer. Really? Yes, she did. She has been out of work for a while and offered a contract job. Since it is summer and he doesn't have school, it will save her money to have him here while she works. It cost us $100 to change the flight -- and worth every penny. We now have fairieboy until the morning of Aug. 4th! fairieboy's response: "Yahoo!" and a lot of jumping up and down.

yes, yes, yes!! That's FABULOUS! I get the girls back on the 2nd, so we could do the last day sleepover thing if you guys wanted to :)
