Therapist Recommendations Requested...
Jun. 29th, 2004 12:03 pmThe depression so bad that even Rowan's smiling face can't dispell the gloom from my heart. I feel guilty for not being more fun for him. I have been battling the depression for months.
So I am looking for a therapist.
What I need:
1) Someone who preferably already has a clue about poly, pagan etc.
2) East bay location.
3) With a sliding scale of fees.
4) Preferably with some background in PTSD.
Suggestions?

Date: 2004-06-30 03:08 am (UTC)Some history for you, I've been through a lot of years of suicidal depression. twice its worked, other times I didn't manage to actually code. There are a lot of problems I've had with confidentiality in therapists from when I was young. eight out of 8 childhood psychologists betrayed it. So when I finally worked up the courage to trust another therapist as an adult at the prompting of my coven, I was pointed to a lady named Romi Ross. Found on Craig's List. I think she's even in the Bay area. It took actively wanting to move down the path of a healthy happy adult. She's a life coach. which means she's kind of.... Ok so you've been fucked up before, let's see if we can't point you in the right direction to move FORWARD, with your life. Where do we go from there. If you're at all interested, she's brilliant and fabulous. I'll have to dig into some old E-mails to find her contact info. If I can't, at least there's a name. And last I checked she does a sliding scale of fees. I wish you the best of stuff, in continuing your healing. hugs,
