Lung Yecch, Need a Prednizone
So three weeks ago I had a cold. Cold is long gone. Unfortunately, as usual, my lungs are still congested. It is a typical pattern for my asthma. If it stays long enough, it becomes a lung infection. The decreasing volume of oxygen getting through is becoming a real problem.
The usual thing for me to do is to take prednizone. Problem is that I am out. I also don't have medical insurance anymore. Don't have the money for the doctor visit or the prescription. I have to find out where low income folks go for medical care around here. I am going over to the place that does the local food bank. They will probably know.
uncledark is at work.
airshipjones took
fairieboy with him to Napa for the day. I hope I still have enough oxygen getting to my brain to drive the truck -- i.e. stickshift -- to wherever help may be found. As it is, I am pretty weak.
Anyone wanna drive me around to clinic? If so, please give me a call.

I don't have any prednisone, but when you see the doctor, you might ask if they'll give you one refill for the next round. My doc did that for me when I told him I was going to Burning Man and didn't want to be stuck in the desert with swollen lungs and no medication.
Feel better soon!
