Evil Choices

I really hate being broke. Had only a couple hundred left in the bank and had to choose between getting fairieboy's plane ticket so he can come home in 6 weeks (have to buy 6 weeks in advance to afford it at all) or buying groceries so we can eat.

Bought the tickets. Found the local foodbank. We don't have much in the way of dairy or meat, but at least we have food. And more importantly, we have managed to make sure our sunshine will return on May 30th.

I wish we could help, but we're || this close to putting up PayPal buttons ourselves, at least until sinboy gets a job or mikz's starts paying him. *(

I'll echo Rose's sentiments about food resources. dryadgrl is definitely a wiz about finding free/low-cost food.

Did you go to the Davis St. Family Resource center? That's where I'd send you, if that's not where you went already.

Thanks. Yes, the Davis St. Resource Ctr is the local foodbank. They were very nice. Lots of beans, rice & pasta.
