Lawyer and Financial Counsellor needed

We are looking for referrals for two types of professionals we need help from:

1) A lawyer who specializes in handling SS disability claims. I as turned down last time. From what we have learned that is standard for people with Fibromyalgia and these cases nearly always need legal help. I need to find such a lawyer.

2) A financial counsellor with some expertise in helping people who have defaulted on government and private financial aid get things back on track.

Most important is competence. Helps if they are nearby. And for the second one, if they will be fine with handling a triad.

Your advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I would contact Community Resources for Independent Living in Hayward for an attorney referral, as well as [livejournal.com profile] stonebender

I can't guarantee this, but the Bar might have some information. I once called the San Francisco Bar to find a lawyer, and at that time, they were very helpful and found a lawyer for me. It might be worth considering, anyway.

you may know briana at infinitelypossible dot net, who has started her own business doing financial counseling. she's identified as poly at various points, so i would imagine 'triad' would not phase her.
