Out of Touch - Why You Don't Hear From Me

If I have not returned your call, responded to your email, called you, come to your party or otherwise reached out to you in the last couple months, this is a note to let you know that this is not about you. I have been experiencing a terrible flare-up of my fibromyalgia and accompanying depression. Getting out of bed is hard. Reaching out to others, nearly impossible. The only ones who have seen me are those who have reached out to me.

Secondly, if you do contact me and it is about a complaint rather than just about wanting to see me or talk to me, it will be even more likely to be something I can't handle. Any stress right now results in a pain spike so extreme that I end up having to take a narcotic based pain killer and go to bed. I barely have the bandwidth to handle talking at all. If you want to be in touch, keep it light.
