It never ceases to amuse me that most of my favorite love songs are songs about domestic life. In the past, I have mentioned "My Cup Runneth Over" by Ed Ames. Another old favorite is "Fire at Midnight" by Jethro Tull. These songs of comfortable daily love invoke just amazingly strong feelings in me. For all my love of adventure, it is the grounding of home and family that makes me truly happy.

I'm glad you have those songs and your family. I have doubted love since Ric died. Nobody I've dated since his death has had the tenderness, consideration, kindness, and honesty he possessed. Believe me, I've had a lot of lovers since he died. Even my most recent two ex-lovers disappointed me. The first by being unkind. The second by being dishonest.
