So next month, I will be taking a trip with

cyan_blue to visit her family in New Jersey. Then she will be taking me sigh seeing in New York. She asked if there was anyone I wanted to visit in the area.

It made me I realized that most of the folks I use to know on the East Coast dropped out of my life in the last several years at least. Part of that is because most of them were professional and activist contacts. When I became ill and couldn't keep up that part of my life, I lost touch with them. The last time I was on the East Coast was in 1999. I went to a professional conference and then did a book signing tour up and down the East Coast from Washington to Boston and back. It was very exciting.

This visit will probably be much more low key. I will be going to a family party with her on May 19th and visiting with her family, then some sight seeing in New York City over the weekend. If there are folks who want to see me, I will visit them and then fly back home.

If you are one of the few East Coast folks still in contact with me and want to see me on my visit, let me know. We need to finalize our arrangements.
