Growing growing and oh my!

So fairieboy was up to my shoulder at Yule -- he now is up to my chin. One consequence of the growth spurt is that none of his size 8 pants fit, so we cleaned out the too small pants and pulled down the box of size 10 pants I had in preparation. There is a very good chance he will be taller than his bio dad. The men in his bio mom's family are all in the 6 foot range. I think he may end up looking like a taller blonder version of airshipjones. I am so glad he has the self confidence and good boundaries!

So now I will be on the hunt for size 12 for the next jump! He might need them by summer for all I know. So if your kids grow out of size 12 pants between now and his next jump, please pass them on. Remember he likes both boy and girl styles. In fact, most of his clothes would in mainstream culture be labeled "girls" clothing. He really likes wild fabrics, sparkles and embroidery on his jeans. And he also likes costumes, dresses and other "flashy" outfits. For example, today is is wearing an Indian sari style top that is Navy blue with gold embroidery with white Chinese style satin pants!

the_misha will be thrilled to see the icon of fairieboy with the Emily guitar! I don't think any of our friends have kids of the right age, but I'll keep an eye out for clothes.

p3aches has been passing along a lot of her boys' jeans to the BSYs, though many of them have been too small for Tiger Boy and too big for Miss Chiff. I will try to find out what sizes were in the recent batch and find out if 12s are something soon to come.

On a side note - Your necklace is done!

I am sorry to have missed Sunday's gathering. I was not feeling well. I ended up canceling 2 events that day and staying in bed. Though I didn't have symptoms of it on Sunday, my body was fighting a UTI.

My schedule is rather full this week, but perhaps I can drop by this weekend sometime to show you the necklace and see how you like it? I will give you a call to find a time that works for both of us.
