Rowan Wins Again and Again...

We had to get up very early today. Rowan had a soccer game at 9 AM. Luckily the hotel had a pretty good free breakfast. Then we drove to the soccer field - right next to the corn fields. Rowan's team won. It was fun.

Then we came back to the hotel and changed into our costumes. Rowan as Harry Potter. Lon was in normal fancy dress for him. Troy didn't wear won. I wore my pirate costume during the day (without the sword which I couldn't bring). Then I changed into the Professor McGonagall costume for the evening. Rowan and I made up a skit for our characters and did it on stage. We not only won a prize -- we won best of show. Rowan got a glowing top. I got a gift certificate for fabric. (Yeah!)

We also had a wonderful time talking with old friend we haven't see in a long time.

I am very sore and very very tired. I will lay down and cuddle my boy now.

They are wonderful. And look great with the costumes. We will be wearing them for trick or treating Monday evening. He plans to wear his to school too.
