Very Productive...

purplerabbitMead is bubbling away in the carboys. We racked around 50 gallons of mead today. The next mead day will probably be in January. We will probably bottle these and start new batches in the spring.
Hot tub is fixed! The circuit board that controlled the hot tub had been burned out by the electrical problems at the old house. The part came in this week and the repair person installed it today. A friend helped by weather-proof staining the redwood skirting, steps and clothes/towel rack. Tomorrow we should get it cleaned out and started up.
We moved the rose bush from the front yard to the back and are in the process of setting up the fountain in front. The pump needed a minor repair which will set up by tomorrow. I am also hoping to get four more rose bushes. Two I will be diggining up from a woman who wants to remove her roses. The other two I may have to buy.
Now if we can just get the tools organized and put away in the garage and the rest of the boxes on the back patio unpacked, the patio will be useable for hot tub and other types of parties.
This week we are also hoping to lay in the sprinkler system and sod in back. Then we will have a yard in back. I will be looking for other plants to put in the garden area too.
On the social side of things: We got to have fun with a role playing game last night. We plan to go to a party tonight. And we will go to a games evening tomorrow eveing.
