What a difference a day makes...

Today has started out wonderful! So different from yesterday. I had trouble sleeping last night, so I slept in. I woke up at nearly noon, feeling much more rested. Next to me, purring and snuggly was my Oberon. He is still feeling poorly and needy, but he seems to be mending. He also seems smart enough to know he needs rest and isn't fighting us to get out. He was so loving and happy this morning.

Then I pulled myself up and downstairs to find Mom was cooking brunch for her and me. Cinnimon rolls, sausages and catalope with Earl Grey tea. Yum.

uncledark was at work. airshipjones had gone off on an errand for me! He was feeling well enough to go get the rug I found on Craig's List. I had all but given up on it. In addition, he came back with a free (brand new) portable "boom box" CD player they gave him. So I finally have a rug for my room. Much easier to do yoga on a rug than on a hardwood floor.

The day is sunny but not too hot. I am expecting friends over for the Bardic tonight. Smile.

Sweetie, Coyote and I are going to continue to take the day off. Things have been too hectic for us lately. We got out of church as quick as we could this morning and skipped the handfasting and our bodies are telling us we need more rest. Much as we'd like to attend, we're going to listen to what our bodies are demanding from us.

How many folks have said yes for the Bardic? The website seems a little iffy, but I'm hoping you have more positive RSVPs from e-mail?

Glad airshipjones is feeling a bit better.

Glad to hear Oberon is doing somewhat better. Alex is still not doing well at all; hardly eats. He seems to mostly want to lick the gravy off his wet food, which makes me wonder if you know of any good cat liquid diet items, by any chance?

*sigh* sorry we didn't make it. Allegra did not clean her room as requested, so we had to spend extra time here at home doing that, by which time it was too late to come over. But I wanted to let you know that I was PARTICULARLY interested in the Bardic concept, and would welcome another whack at it sometime.
