ocicat visiting this week...

ocicat and I have been close friends for eighteen years. We first met when he was a freshman at UCSC and crashed our Halloween party that year. We have kept in touch and stayed close including visiting as frequently as we can. He is family. And he is visiting this week! He arrived Tuesday. We went to Santa Cruz yesterday. Today we hung out and talked about our lives. I read him updates on my novel, he told me funny stories from his D&D world. He will be visiting other friends for the next couple of days. Sunday we are hosting an afternoon of gaming here for him. He heads back to his home in the Northwest on Monday.

My week is going well except that my sweeties are sick. airshipjones has a bad head & chest cold. uncledark might be coming down with it. I am taking lots of vitamins and sleeping in my own room. I am taking care of them but also hoping I can avoid getting sick as well.

I am planning to go to Wine&Song on Friday and have a date Saturday night. Tonight I am up story thinking. It is part of the writing process but doesn't involving the typing yet. It means I stare at nothing and imagine the story a lot.
