fairieboy's Busy Day!

So we went to the Oakland zoo with a dozen kids yesterday! uncledark, fairieboy and I went along courtesy of deedeebythebay. Fun was had by all. The heat did get to us though and we crashed for most of the rest of the day.

In the evening, we went to dinner and then over to Border's Books for the bid Harry Potter book party. fairieboy drew quite a bit of attention, first at Applebee's and then at the bookstore. He was dressed in full Harry Potter costume including dress slacks, shirt and shoes, Gryffindor tie, black velvet robe with gold lining and Hogwarts log, Hogarts black student hat, HP glasses, make up scar and wand. He was flamboyant and lots of fun. He won 1st Prize in the costume contest. It was lots of fun.

Today, Victoria is visiting. This evening, Maddie and Allegra are visiting. uncledark is at work, having to take on extra shifts for the time he took off during the move and the time he will take off when we go to Seattle at the end of the month. airshipjones and I are working on all the house projects like installing pan racks, towel racks, setting up sheds and more.

airshipjones was suppose to tell you. July 29-31. I hope that is okay. The plan is for three of us to drive up and airshipjones to fly up Friday eve. He flys back on Sunday and we drive back.

Uh oh,....did I forget to say that it was decided that the invidual babysitting Sarah thought it best to save her volunteer time for when there are all three girls and I need to bring Sarah as well. Is that ok?
