Panicking now...

I just don't see how I can get everything packed, moved over and cleaned up by Thursday. Landlady says the new tenant moves in on Friday. redhatmary and I spent all afternoon packing stuff at the old place. When I tried to unload at this end, the door lock on the van broke and I can't get things out. I am so very very tired -- as is the rest of my family. Now airshipjones has the flu, which usually means I will get it eventually. I am trying to hire help for the cleaning part. But I don't trust a stranger to pack my things. Arrgh! Anyone out there able to help? Please?

So sorry to hear about the door lock on the van. *searches brain* Maybe you could talk to my friend wjr about it. He's very handy with such things, and you might be able to help him out with some stuff at some point. Tell him I sent you.

We've been struck down by the flu-beast over here, so we haven't been able to lend as much of a hand. However, I'm pretty sure I can spare a couple of hours each on Wednesday and Thursday, and I might be able to give you some of my time tomorrow depending on how I feel by then.

I have school in the morning and Early afternoon. But thursday, I should have all afternoon, and into the night. I may be able to do some of the moving. My breathing's doing better lately. I don't think I have your number directly, or I'd be calling it. I don't know what will need to be done at that point, but I would stay up all night helping if you need it.
