Doing Fine

Just to let folks know that I have been doing fine lately. A bit meloncoly with Rowan going back to Iowa and the Easter thing. Otherwise good.

I actually started some new medication that has been very effective at clearing up many of the fibromyalgia symptoms, especially the deep pain. That means that for the past three weeks I have been in the least pain I have felt in several years. Still have some of the weirder symptoms like restless legs, etc. I started to medication the week before Rowan got here and it was nice to be able to keep up with him for a change. Well, at least as much as anyone can keep up with him. We had a wonderful week, as always.

The last week airshipjones and I have been focusing on getting the finances figured out. He starts his new job this Monday and we used his week off to work one the backlog of paperwork, checkbook balancing, taxes, etc. We still have more to do, but probably got the bulk of the work done.

Also did some gardening. I have the pond and rose beds weeded. I planted some green beans in back and some flowers in front. I still need to trim back the ivy along the back fence so I can plant that garden bed. And the lawn needs mowing. Since I am not allowed to use the electric hedge trimmer without supervision (accident prone), I will have to find a volunteer to work on that part of the project with me.

I have also been writing. Actually stayed home from social stuff this weekend because the urge to write was so strong. I have rewritten Chapter 3 and am half way through a new section, Chapter 25.

The guys will be gone all day on Sunday. uncledark will be at work. airshipjones is going to visit his parents. redhatmary is in the middle of a three week visit to my sister in Arizona. S (our houseguest) is Christian and will be at church most of the day.

Not sure if I will write or go do something. Either way, I am in a pretty good mood about things.

Gardening is a wonderful thing. I should work on doing more of it. ^^; Aside from that, I'm glad you've found a medication that is working well for you! ^_^

Definitely sounds like you are entering a phase of rebirth and renewal. How appropriate for this time of year! Sorry I couldn't make it there last week due to my own events, but I wish you a happy belated Ostara!

hey, can I ask you what the medication is? my partner has fibro and I'm always on the lookout for something that might help him.
