So something very weird has been happening to me the last week.

Last several weeks I had been very depressed, even with Rowan here. Earlier this week that shifted and I have been extremely restless. Can't sit still, can't stay in the house.

It's more than that though. It's like aspects of my teen self have come out again. I find myself wanting adventure, excitement and more. I leave the house in the middle of the night to drive around. I even answered some personals ads online. I met new people and been out of the house more in the last week than in a long time.

I made a self care and self recovery list. And I am working through it. Part of the fun aspects was to try to play with how I see myself. I dyed/bleached my hair blond. I am getting contact lenses today. (I ran out of lenses months ago.) I am planning to find a yoga instructor in my area when we get back from Seattle.

One of the things on my list of things is to get out to more social stuff. If you wanna help with that - invite me somewhere. I also want to attend more parties. I hope the energy levels stay high. I also hope I find ways to channel it that allow me to sleep better when I am not out adventuring.

A and I are a bit bushed from too much adventuring of late, trying to take it easy this weekend. I'll give you a call later today to check in, share our social calendar and stuff.

There's yoga at the Java Gym a couple of blocks from our house. I think I want to take belly dance, though--interested, if we can find a class relatively locally?

Looking forward to seeing you guys when we get back. Speaking of which, thanks for having Allegra over last night, and when shall we get the kids together in the week after your return and before his departure?

You have said in the past that night clubs are too much stimulation for you. If you think you could re-assess that, maybe you could come with me to the goth club I go to on Monday nights. I'll even do your makeup! Let me know.
