There's a fine line between closure and your illustrations. I think that if a response is expected, or if the aim is to hurt, then it's not an example of closure. If it's a "goodbye", rather than a litany of wrongs and slights, then it's closure.
The intent is the key. Am I trying to hurt the other party with my words and make her/him feel what I may have felt, or am I only saying goodbye and closing a chapter?
