Passing this on for a friend and hoping someone might have ideas:
Singer/songwriter Celia will be in the San Francisco Bay area and she is still looking for a few last minute gigs. Celia would very much appreciate your help in finding gigs.
Celia has been described as a cross between an Earthy Enya, Tori Amos, and Gilda Radner. A Red-headed Renaissance Woman, Celia is a singer/songwriter, actress, and storyteller who dishes up the most delicious concoction of the silly and the sacred. She is an amazing multi-faceted artist from powerful heart-felt vocals to wacky comedic improvisations-you honestly never know what will happen with Celia on stage.
Celia can perform to a wide variety of audiences, as her music includes traditional Celtic and folk music, children's songs, musical humour, and even songs with serious political messages. If you know of any coffee shops or music venues that are not already booked for any date between February 18th-22nd, at which Celia could perform, please let us know as soon as possible.
More information on Celia can be found at her website, http://celiaonline.com
For suggestions and/or more information contact: geoff@avalon.net
ALSO: The Rabbit Warren may be hosting a house party for her as well if we can work out the timing. I will post a separate note when we have the details.
