At least in Arizona we had fans...

All FANS are sold out. At every store! Big and small. Gone. As are air conditioners. I was able to get one fan off craigslist but we could use more.

Meanwhile, we are working on getting our window air conditioner installed into the kitchen window. airshipjones and fuzzydragon are trying to rig something up to make it fit. They have to build and attach a shelf for it to sit on and then cut wood to fill in where it doesn't fit quite right. Hopefully, when they are done, it will be strong enough to cool the main living area downstairs.

Upstairs is practically unbearable right now. I would love to sew right now but my room is a hot house. I need to look into eventually getting some kind of air conditioner for my room too. It would be hard to install up there though.

The kids are happy. Allegra, dragonchild42 and our fairieboy are running around screaming in the back yard. I blew up the small pools and they are running the hose down the slide. Wet and wild..

weirdodragoncat and I are keeping an eye on the kids and hiding in the darkened living room with a couple of fans.

Hayward broke record temperatures yesterday. It was 105 F, the record had been 103 F in 1988.
