Having fun though. Got lost in the Darwin exhibit and the American Museum of National History. Loved it. Lots of information about this life. Seeing the actual collections he worked with, his handwritten papers. I have studied the history but it is oddly comforting to see he was a real person and know some of the struggles he went through to make those achievements. For example, he struggled with a chronic disability and pain as well.

Make me more optimistic.

Food on the trip so far...

Let's see, it is fun getting to eat in different places on the road. The first night here we were at a dinner run by greeks, so even the "regular items" were a bit unusual. Yesterday we at at a Japanese/Korean place and today at a Greek restruant. Lots of fun.

Traveling with cyan_blue is fun and funny. She posts things more than I do because she carries a blackberry with her. That means that she has first interpretation of what we see. Apparently, my sweeties back home enjoy that. They said they could just see me lecturing at the Darwin exhibit. Of course, they will get to do just than since she also took pictures! Oy veh!

Gotta a call from airshipjones. Looks like my bed will finally be done soon. They put it together yesterday and found the mechanism actually works. I have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor since we moved last year because the murphy bed requires a custom built cabinet. The person we hired to do that took off for another state in the middle of the project. Luckily, he is back now and finishing it.
