Writing Blues
Mar. 29th, 2006 12:46 amHours spent staring at the screen. Candle lit. Tea on the warmer next to me. Hours. Nothing.
I am in a gap again. I was so happy to be past the bloody bear scene but now I am in a quandary of what to show next. I know what happens but it isn't always about what happens as much as it is about what to show and from which character's perspective. It would be so much easier with one main character. Having six has drawbacks.
So I am going to climb in bed and hope for inspiration to strike in my sleeps. If my prayer is answered, when I wake next I will know how to write the next chapter.
