Busy Bunny weekend update

Friday night, I attended Wine & Song (a regular social gathering of friends) and got to extra quality time with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
cyan_blue as well as other friends.
Saturday,uncledark, airshipjones, cyan_blue, inflectionpoint and I got to go see the KING KONG movie. And we all liked it! When we got back, we got a surprise visit from godmoma and tvleavitt. tvleavitt and airshipjones traded computer equipment and ideas, while godmoma and I worked on our knitting. (uncledark just made fun of all as usual. Grin.)
Sunday, I went to the Red Hats on Wheels luncheon withredhatmary. She is the Queen of her own Red Hats group, so that makes me "Princess," if you can believe that. And in the evening we hosted our own FOOD FOR THOUGHT Salon. The discussion, food and company was all fantastic.
After so much socializing, I am in my usual Monday retreat from the world. I haven't even left my room today. I love my friends and family, but I also love my quiet time.
This weekend,uncledark, inflectionpoint, cyan_blue, and I are going to Santa Cruz. We have tickets to see the Indigo Girls in concert. And we hope to do some adventures around Santa Cruz including a walk in the woods to Cat's Cradle.
Meanwhile, I have a paper to write and sewing to catch up on. Not to mention some cleaning up around here. I am also planning to attend Aikido and Yoga classes. I tried an Aikido dojo in Freemont last week and enjoyed it. I plan to go back again this week. I also plan to go back to my regular yoga classes that I was attending last summer.
