Bad Dreams
Feb. 8th, 2005 01:12 pmI have nightmares. I don't know if they are every night, but they are so frequent as to almost not be worth mentioning. I don't even usually bring them up to my counselor. Most of them are about failure. My failure. My failure to protect those I love. My failure to accomplish my goals. My failure to keep my temper. My failure to get well.
Last night's dream involved a bird. There was this bird that I was suppose to work with as some sort of magic act. It was in a cage. I took it out so that I could get use to handling it and it could get use to me. Then it began to fly around the room. Too late, I noticed the ceiling fan was on. I went to turn it off and only ended up turning it up higher by mistake. The dream ended in a shower of blood and feathers. I woke up crying.
