Four Years Ago Today

On this date in 2003, I fell down some stairs and shattered the lower parts of my left leg. I have come a long way since that horrible time. (You can get an idea of how far by reading this.)

I rejoice in my ability to walk.

I rejoice that my writing has retuned.

I rejoice that my boy is still my sunshine.

I rejoice in the chance to live my curse - "to live in interesting times and come to the attention of important people."

I rejoice in the love of family and friends that have helped make life worth struggling to keep.
