Today was not good. Sorry if I haven't been paying too much attention to friend via LJ. I just don't have the bandwidth to read much right now. If it is important, you might try calling me.

fuzzydragon's car;s transmission blew when he went to pick up the little one from school. Luckily we signed up for AAA after our episode this summer. So I went and got his vehicle towed and then took them back home with us. He helped me clean the hot tub, fixed the plug for the fountain and other misc. helpful stuff.

We have been pretty stressed about money. airshipjones was laid off a couple weeks ago. He has been working hard at finding another job with lots and lots of interviews. If he doesn't get one pretty quick, rent is gonna get dicey. Unemployment wouldn't cover even half the rent.

So when the truck started overheating last week, we got worried. He replaced the radiator that was leaking and then the thermostat. He took the truck to San Jose for a job interview this afternoon. It is still in San Jose. He is hoping he can get it running and home tomorrow. If not, then we are in big trouble. We don't have the funds to replace the vehicle.

I am trying not to fret too much. Positive hopes sent our way are certainly welcome.

I just bought a new (to me) truck and have a 2 door hatchback Geo metro that is completely crappy and needs work but passes smog and runs. (and gets over 40mpg) You're welcome to it.
